Lindsie is the best. We recently had two of our fur-babies pass within a week of each other. She’s cremated two previous pups as well. She gives comfort and support throughout the process. Highly recommend.

We had to put our senior dog to sleep and that same day I called Athens Pet Cremation for information. Tyler called me back very quickly and provided all of the information for pet cremation. Not only was pricing fair but they are very attentive. Tyler went above and beyond giving us time to say goodbye to our pet and following up with us prior to our appointment that afternoon. I cannot speak highly enough of the services provided by Athens Pet Cremation. Schatzi our beloved dog of 13 years had to be put down at the UGA Vet Teaching Hospital. It was exactly 2 days after Christmas and my regular veterinarian was not available. They have an agreement with APC so I was in agreement to have Schatzi sent there. I was very happy with the experience! Lindsie was incredible! She took the time to visit with me and help me choose a wonderful urn in the form of a dog. It had to be ordered and I told her to just place the creamins in the urn when it arrived. Unfortunately I contracted Omricon and was unable to pick up the urn. She offered to bring it to me and place on the door step. I was so delighted not to have to wait! I really can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful young lady! I was so pleased! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who needs these services and a 5 star review for Lindsie!

Everyone at Athens Pet Cremation was incredibly kind, professional, and patient when handling the loss of our beloved Kaiser. His death was unexpected and completely rocked our little family. We only recently moved to the area, so we had no idea who to call or what we wanted to do with our boy. APC gave us time to make our decisions, while making clear that if we had any questions whatsoever that would help us make a decision, then they would be there to answer them. From calling me back at 9pm and talking through things because of my weird schedule, to sending me proofs and adjusting them until I was happy with how things looked. They never missed a beat, they were completely wonderful and helpful every single step of the way. We are still devastated by the loss of our buddy, but I can genuinely say APC made things just a little bit easier and I would recommend them to anyone who has to deal with the loss of a pet.

This facility treated my family and dog better then I have had with traditional People funerals overall. Our dog was a member of the family and the impact was hard to digest on this sudden loss and events. Lindsie with Athens Pet Cremation was there the whole time literally had picked up our French Bulldog within the hour of us having to put her down. (Even after hours at no charge even though they would normally Charge for this service) She coordinated on the fly quickly with the University of GA Small Animal Facility (Fantastic Place and state of the art overall and the overall team there). I do not feel as though five stars is enough. Yesterday I lost my bestfriend of 11 years. My loving Pittie. Lindsie met with us and was so compassionate and caring that I could tell that she genuinely cared. She was not just "doing her job". You could tell that she has a love for people and animals and it shows! She went above and beyond for me and my little family. I trusted leaving my Max with her completely. I don't think that I could brag enough on her. This girl and I could be friends. You guys are very lucky to have her on your team. She's amazing.

I can't say enough about how much we appreciated the care we received at Athens Pet Cremation. When our dog crossed over suddenly, we were in shock and grief. I found out about this company through a flier in the Comfort Room at the UGA hospital. It's not listed on their main list of options, probably because it's a newer facility, but grab their flier if you find yourself in the Comfort Room. Lindsie made the most horrible experience bearable for us with her compassionate care and step-by-step guidance. We couldn't have asked for a kinder guide. We had some concerns--timing, distance, cost, and assurance that we were getting our own dog's ashes. As far as the timing, we called Lindsie the afternoon of our loss and she was able to arrange pickup (FREE from UGA! Costly with other facilities, especially for an extra-large dog) and a private cremation and ashes pickup that same day. Meaning we were able to take our pet home with us that same day, which meant a lot to us. We were able to be present for the cremation, have a few moments with our pet to say goodbye, and witness the process being as involved as we wanted to be, giving us great peace of mind. They showed us a tag with his unique number and we witnessed the tag going in with his body and it was returned with his ashes. This was so important to me--his cremation was conducted with the utmost compassion, dignity, and respect for both his remains and our feelings and needs. She did everything to make us as comfortable as possible during our time there. As far as distance, this is the only facility in Athens. It was such a relief to be able to do this locally, supporting a local business and not having to drive very far in our grief. Regarding the cost, other facilities within a 2-hour drive were far more costly. Because APC was so much more affordable, we were able to afford a nice urn with an engraving, a luxury that I didn't expect. They provide many urn, memorial, and jewelry choices in-house but provide you with the ashes bagged in a nice box initially with zero pressure to purchase anything and options viewable on their website. We ordered an urn and returned to have the ashes transferred the next week. The entire process was unexpectedly smooth and very, very comforting. I'm eternally grateful for this facility and although it was a tragedy that brought us together, it was an absolutely perfect experience.

Lindsie is the sweetest person! She definitely helped me through my difficult time of losing my sweet baby. I appreciate her kindness.

Today on 01/06/2021 at 10:30.am. myself and my husband Kevin brought our 11 year old Great Dane, Max to be cremated. Max passed away this morning at 9:30. All of the staff is extremely nice and very professional and we highly recommend anyone to take their beloved pets to them to be cremated. They show so much compassion and are very caring. Our precious Khanook had an under lying illness that took him from us very unexpectedly. After calling several crematories, being told it would cost around $300.00, with his remains being handed to me in a baggie type container, I contacted Athens Pet Cremation. Lindsie was so helpful and compassionate. They were able to immediately take Khanook and had him back home the same day. When we arrived, we were given his remains in a air tight plastic bag inside a white container with his cremation tag attached. Lindsie also gave us clippings of his fur and a paw print; one inked and one scanned. I strongly recommend this business.

The staff was very kind, professional, and treated our beloved pet, Leo, like we did. He was not just a dog but a part of our family. The staff was wonderful and all the services provided made the transition easier. They helped us feel he was respectfully taken care of .
